g is for ghetto, s is for stolen

Works created under the project "G is for Ghetto, S is for Stolen" for my final year project.

The body of work explores the origins and key features of the Ghetto aesthetic while also challenging the theft of it my mainstream culture; fashion magazines and celebrities. How has the work of Black and queer Black people of the Ghetto lost it's rooting at the hands of the mainstream?
